Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Thikana, the free web hosting platform at pagecraft.website ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Thikana.

1. The service

Thikana provides free web hosting: subdomains under pagecraft.website, automatic SSL certificates, a web file manager, MySQL databases and a control panel. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported on a best-effort basis.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it to activate your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is prohibited.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Thikana.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Thikana for any of the following. This list is not exhaustive:

• Spam and phishing — sending unsolicited bulk email, operating phishing pages, or harvesting credentials.
• Malware and attacks — hosting or distributing viruses, ransomware, exploit kits, botnet controllers, or tools designed to attack other systems.
• Illegal content — anything unlawful under applicable law, including fraud, harassment and the sexual exploitation of minors (reported to authorities without exception).
• Infringing content — copyrighted material you have no right to publish. See abuse reports below.
• Resource abuse — cryptocurrency mining, password cracking, proxy/VPN exit nodes, or anything that degrades the shared platform for others.
• Circumvention — attempting to bypass account limits, access other users' data, or probe the platform's security without written permission.

4. Free plan and fair use

• The free plan includes fair-use limits on storage, bandwidth, databases and compute, published in your dashboard. These keep the platform fast for everyone.
• Accounts that consistently exceed fair use, sit idle with no real website, or exist only to hold subdomains may be limited or reclaimed.
• We may change plan limits at any time; the dashboard always shows your current limits.

5. Your content

• You retain ownership of everything you upload or create. Thikana claims no ownership over your files, sites or databases.
• You grant us the limited technical license needed to store, serve and back up your content as part of operating the Service.
• You are solely responsible for your content: its legality, accuracy and licensing. We do not pre-screen hosted websites.

6. Suspension and termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the platform, or remain inactive for extended periods.
• For serious abuse — phishing, malware, illegal content, attacks on the platform — we act immediately and without prior notice.
• You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard; your files and databases are removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Uptime and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". As a free service, Thikana offers no uptime guarantee or service-level agreement. We work hard to keep the platform reliable, but maintenance, outages and changes can occur without notice. Do not host anything on Thikana where downtime would cause you harm — keep your own backups of important content.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thikana is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service — which, on the free plan, is zero.

9. Abuse and copyright reports

If you find abusive, phishing or infringing content hosted on Thikana, report it through the support page with the offending URL and a description. For copyright claims, include identification of the copyrighted work, the infringing URL, and your contact details. We review reports promptly and remove violating content, including repeat-infringer accounts where appropriate.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be noted here with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of Thikana after changes constitutes acceptance. The current version always lives at pagecraft.website/terms.html — if any translated version differs, the English text controls.
